Knee Braces

Support, Stability and Compartment Offloading

The right brace can reduce pain, improve stability and protect your knee after injury or surgery. Mr Rehmatullah can advise which brace, if any, is appropriate for your condition.

Basic Neoprene Support (no patella hole)

  • Light compression and warmth
  • No patella opening — even pressure around the knee
  • Low profile under clothing
  • Often helpful for early arthritis and mild swelling

Össur Medial Offloader Brace

Össur Medial Offloader Brace

Designed to reduce pressure on the inner (medial) compartment of the knee. Often helpful for medial compartment osteoarthritis and bow-leg (varus) alignment.

  • Reduces load through the worn medial compartment
  • Can improve pain and function in medial arthritis
  • Lightweight, rigid frame with comfortable padding
  • May delay or avoid the need for surgery in suitable patients

Do I need a brace?

Braces are not always necessary, and the wrong brace can be unhelpful. During your consultation Mr Rehmatullah will assess whether a brace is likely to help your specific diagnosis and, if so, which type is most suitable. Some braces are available directly; others are measured and fitted to order.
