Mr Nader Rehmatullah

About

A surgeon with a cyclist's heart.

Mr Nader Rehmatullah is a double fellowship-trained Consultant Sports Knee, Knee Preservation & Arthroplasty Surgeon. A former British international javelin athlete, his practice is shaped by a deep understanding of how injury changes a life — and how careful surgery can give it back.

Nader was educated in Cambridge and undertook his orthopaedics training in the Mersey Deanery, completing fellowships at the world-renowned Wrightington Hospital and the prestigious Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Hospital (Gobowen), Oswestry. He has held a substantive consultant post for over 6 years.

In 2023 Nader was appointed as the Welsh National Clinical Lead for Knee Surgery. He is responsible for ensuring and improving the safe practice of knee care for all patients throughout Wales. He is committed to improving the experience and journey that patients receive from initial referral to discharge.
